Our one-of-a-kind Police Encounters 101 citizen training program was created as a part of GCPEA to inform citizens how to handle a police encounter properly, calmly, lawfully and safely, thereby impacting the dynamic and outcome of the encounter as safer for everyone.
Because we interviewed hundreds of police officers (and listened) in order to create this program, Police Encounters 101 has strong police support. We also utilized the input of attorneys, citizens, behavioral specialists and clergy.
